Distinctives
If we develop into a congregation…
We shall:
1.
Subscribe to the 1689 London Baptist Confession of Faith, which among many things, upholds the Reformed view of salvation.
2.
Preach through each book of the Bible verse-by-verse.
3.
Have a family integrated church, which means children will be included in the worship service.
4. Maintain a distinct liturgical structure. (Click here for an example.)
5.
Uphold the practice of church discipline, if a case arises.
6.
Be actively involved in reaching out to the community in Word and deed.
7.
Be committed to helping the widow, the single parent, the orphan, the homeless, the sick, the imprisoned, and the downtrodden.
8. Be committed to knowing one another intimately, as the Lord allows.
9. Love the Lord Jesus Christ with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength.
